Our Community Involvement Extends Beyond Property Management Services
Charleston Management Corporation believes that it is just as important to do good as it is to do well, which is why we have a long history of giving back to the community where we work. Our humanitarian and volunteer efforts are performed both at large by Charleston Management and by staff members on an individual basis.
Charleston Management provides annual support to numerous charities in the Raleigh-Durham area, three of which include:
- Salvation Army Holiday Programs: Charleston Management employees volunteer time and donations in various capacities to support the Salvation Army’s Holiday efforts. Our staff helps with toy shop set-up and distribution, Angel Tree manning and stocking stuffing.
- Hospice of Wake County: Charleston Management has long supported the Hospice of Wake County and is a proud sponsor of the Hospice of Wake County’s annual Summer Salute fundraising event coordinated by North State Bank.
- St. Baldrick’s Foundation: The St. Baldrick’s Foundation works to bring an end to childhood cancer. Charleston Management Company owner, Brian Wessler, became a founding member of the Bald Entrepreneurs shave team in 2008, which has raised more than $400,000 to date. The team’s history of growth has led them to annually host their own Shave Event in Wake Forest.

Charleston Management Corporation also supports the following organizations on an annual basis: Fraternal Order of Police: Shop with a Cop – Back to School and Easter Events, The Shrine Circus, Special Olympics and National MS Society via BikeMS. In addition, Charleston Management donates time and resources to assist with the local and national losses caused by natural disasters. As individuals, our staff often volunteer their time to serve various charitable efforts.
